Membership


ACE’s membership comprises of more than 650 consultancy and engineering organisations of varying size and scope working in the built and natural environment around the globe.

 

Membership is open to qualifying firms of all sizes and includes some of the largest and most influential multidisciplinary consultancies in the UK as well as small niche players offering specialist services.

Members are typically business enterprises providing consulting and other professional services on engineering or related issues. They cover all of the major consultancy areas of expertise including buildings, transport, utilities, environment, construction/project management and are located throughout the UK and worldwide.

Lobbying and representation

 ACE provides comment, consultancy and lobbying on a range of issues. The promotion of ACE’s members’ significant contribution to developing the nation’s  infrastructure forms part of an ongoing dialogue with government, major clients, the media and other key stakeholders.

ACE plays a proactive role in influencing policy and decisions, lobbying for positive change at every level - local, national or international - and is represented on all key industry bodies and panels, including the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).

 

ACE has a powerful and proactive communications, media and public relations strategy to engage with key audiences. ACE actively encourages comment, responds with opinion and develops relationships and platforms to communicate members’ interests and concerns.
